What is a YouComic?
Imagine yourself, your family, and your friends as the stars of your own comic book page! The YouComic is an incredibly fun and unique piece of artwork that is perfectly suited for gamers, cosplayers, family portraits, birthday presents, or the business in search of some new, fresh imagery. YouComic was created by professional comic artist and writer, Pete Stathis, creator of the comic book series Evenfall. YouComic commissions are currently being executed by Pete Stathis or Jason Yungbluth, the creator of the comic book series Deep Fried and Weapon Brown.

How does it work?
A YouComic can be whatever you want it to be. Start by telling Pete a bit about yourself and the friends, family, or coworkers you would like to have in the piece. Then, pick a theme for your YouComic. This is limited only by your imagination, but here are a few examples:

Themes can range from the mundane… A Day at the Beach Sports Vacation and Travel A Day at the Office Holiday Fun Fishing Camping Fun in the Snow The Big Party A Typical Day in the Life

…to the fantastic! Superheroes Science Fiction Sword and Sorcery Film Noir / Mystery Romance Adventure Wild West Historical Period Video Games Movies

Next, provide your artist with some photos of whoever you'd like to have in your YouComic. After talking with you a bit about what you'd like to see in your comic, your artist will send you a small rough sketch, including all text, for your approval. Once you give it the "OK", he will start work on the final product. Turn-around time is about one week.

 

How much does a YouComic cost?

A YouComic executed as a personal or family portrait............... $500.00

A YouComic executed to advertise a service or product,
or for a corporate event............................................................ $600.00

These prices include:

• The original black and white art at 11"x14"
• A large color print of the final work on glossy cardstock at 11"x14" (additional prints after the first one are $5 each)
• Up to 5 likenesses (portraits) on the page (additional likenesses after the first five are $25 each)
• A CD with a high resolution image of the YouComic, so you can use and manipulate the image however you like, as often as you like!
